Razorbacks rise to No. 22 in AP poll

The Arkansas women’s basketball team climbed one spot in this week's Associated Press Top 25 poll, which was released Monday.

The Razorbacks, which played only one game last week, are slotted at No. 22 in the rankings after a dominant 108-64 win at Ole Miss on Sunday. Arkansas has set a program record for points scored in an SEC game in back-to-back outings — 103 vs. Kentucky, 108 at Ole Miss.

Five Razorbacks players finished in double figures against the Rebels, led by Alexis Tolefree’s 19 and Chelsea Dungee’s 18. Amber Ramirez added 17 as well.

Arkansas (20-5, 8-4 SEC) shot 64.4 percent for the game, breaking a 20-year-old program record.

Mike Neighbors’ team returns to Bud Walton Arena on Thursday to face Tennessee, which received five votes in this week’s AP poll. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. on SEC Network.

Arkansas closes the week with a trip to Florida on Sunday. The game is schedule for 3 p.m.
