— Arkansas receiver Koilan Jackson underwent season-ending surgery last week, Razorbacks coach Sam Pittman said Monday.

Jackson, a redshirt junior, has not played this season. Pittman did not detail Jackson's injury, but a source said he had a knee injury to the opposite knee he injured during his redshirt season in 2017.

"He’s going to be fine," Pittman said. "It is a season-ending surgery, but he’s fine. He’s doing well, so we’re happy for that."

Jackson has played in 14 games for the Razorbacks, including 11 last season. He has four career receptions for 51 yards.

Jackson was a prep standout at Joe T. Robinson High School in Little Rock, where he had 57 receptions for 1,206 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior.

His father, Keith Jackson, was a College Football Hall of Fame tight end at Oklahoma and spent 17 seasons as the color analyst on the Razorbacks' radio network until he retired in 2016. Keith Jackson Jr. was a starting defensive lineman on the Razorbacks' SEC West championship team in 2006.
