Arkansas shooting guard target Nick Smith Jr. announced a list of eight options after high school on Thursday, and the Razorbacks are among a group that includes five other schools and two professional leagues.

Smith, 6-5, 176 pounds, of North Little Rock, announced his top colleges as Arkansas, Kentucky, Kansas, Auburn, Alabama and Oklahoma. He also listed the National Basketball League in Australia and Overtime Elite league as options after high school.

Overtime Elite will launch in September. According to ESPN, the league will target basketball players between the ages of 16 and 18 who are willing to give up their remaining high school and college eligibility to make six-figure salaries.

ESPN rates Smith a 4-star prospect, the No. 7 shooting guard and No. 37 overall prospect in the 2022 class. He is scheduled to make an official visit to Fayetteville on Sept. 10-12.

He was named the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette All-Arkansas Preps Underclassman of the Year after averaging 21.3 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals per game as a sophomore for Sylvan Hills, and was named the All-Arkansas Preps Player of the Year after averaging 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists as a junior.

Smith recently led the Brad Beal Elite AAU team to a 6-2 record and the finals of Peach Jam. He averaged 18.6 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists per game.
