DeWitt's Logan Moss commits to Arkansas

Arkansas received its second commitment from an in-state linebacker on Sunday with DeWitt’s Logan Moss pledging to be a walk-on.

Moss, 6-0, 215 pounds, had offers from Southern Arkansas, Northeastern State, East Central University, Arkansas-Monticello, Hendrix and William Jewell College. He also had a preferred walk-on offer from Kansas.

DeWitt junior tight end Dax Courtney is also committed to the Razorbacks.

"I felt like it was too good of an opportunity to pass up," Moss said of Arkansas. "Being able to be a part and contributing to what they are building in Fayetteville is amazing. And then of course I’m looking forward to continuing being teammates with Dax.

"Seeing former walk-ons like Grant Morgan, Hudson Clark and others make such a big contribution to the team, especially on the defensive side, is also a motivation."

He recorded 94 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, 2 interceptions and 4 forced fumbles as a senior. Moss is the older brother of promising Dragons sophomore offensive lineman Will Moss.

Greenwood linebacker Jordan Hanna pledged to the Razorbacks earlier on Sunday.
