One of the top Arkansas targets plans to make an official visit to Fayetteville this weekend.
Cornerback Gentry Williams, 6-0, 170 pounds, of Tulsa Washington, announced Arkansas, Oklahoma, LSU, Missouri, Southern Cal and Florida as his top schools in March.
His relationship with Razorbacks cornerbacks coach Sam Carter has Arkansas in the running.
“He talks to me about football, but he talks to me about being a great man,” Williams said in an earlier interview. “We’ll talk about faith, we’ll talk about family, everything other than football. That’s what really helps me with Coach Carter and our relationship.”
His former teammate Keuan Parker is a Razorbacks cornerback.
ESPN rates Williams a 4-star prospect, the No. 5 athlete and No. 67 overall recruit for the 2022 class.
