Interest: Harding, Arkansas Tech, Henderson State, Missouri Western State

Coach Max Washausen:

“Darryl is a big, powerful back. He's only 16 years old and he will continue to grow. He plays halfback and fullback in our system and can catch well. He's a very strong, durable back. He has great vision, very competitive and is athletic.

"He's a four-sport athlete – along with travel basketball – and never misses workouts. His stats speak for themselves. He is on pace to be on the list of the all-time high school running backs. I believe he's the top running back in the state because of his combination of size, power and speed.”
