FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas topped the final regular-season USA Today Baseball Coaches Poll on Monday following its championship at the SEC Tournament.

The Razorbacks (46-10) received all 32 first-place votes in the poll. Arkansas, which was named Monday the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament, has held the top spot in the coaches poll for eight consecutive weeks and 11 weeks this year.

The poll will not update again until after the conclusion of the College World Series.

Tennessee is ranked No. 2 this week. The Razorbacks defeated the Volunteers 7-2 on Sunday in the SEC Tournament championship game.

Vanderbilt, which lost 6-4 to Arkansas last Thursday in the SEC Tournament, is ranked No. 3 this week. Other ranked SEC teams include Mississippi State (7), Ole Miss (11) and Florida (13). South Carolina, which was ranked No. 24 last week, fell out of the poll.

Nebraska, which will play in this week’s NCAA Fayetteville Regional, is ranked 19th.

Arkansas has an 18-3 record against teams ranked in this week’s poll.

The coaches’ rankings for Arkansas, Arizona, Mississippi State and Stanford were the only that aligned with the NCAA’s seeding of the top 16 teams in the postseason tournament.
