The Recruiting Guy

Marion's Terrion Burgess first '25 prospect to receive Arkansas offer

2025 guard Terrion Burgess.

Marion freshman Terrion Burgess is the first 2025 prospect to receive an offer from Arkansas coach Eric Musselman.

Arkansas Hawks founder and chairman Bill Ingram has been high on Burgess for a while and believes he’ll be an elite recruit in his class.

“High ceiling, he’s 6-9 and can play all positions,” Ingram said. “He’s still growing and I think he will be another great player from the state of Arkansas. Big talent that can play the 1 through 5. He’s a top-15 prospect or higher.”

Burgess, 6-9, 170 pounds, played up on the 2024 Hawks squad. He also has offers from Auburn, Texas Tech, Central Arkansas, Alabama State and Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

He was selected to the Pangos All-South Frosh-Soph Camp in Duncanville, Texas, on Oct. 2-3, where he was picked to play in the Top 30 Cream of the Crop game.
