Arkansas-UAPB gets morning kick in Little Rock

Arkansas players run onto the field prior to a game in War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas’ game against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Oct. 23 will be televised by SEC Network.

The game between the Razorbacks and Golden Lions is scheduled to kick off at 11 a.m. at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. It will be Arkansas’ first game at the stadium in two years, and only game there until 2023.

It will be the fourth consecutive 11 a.m. kickoff for the Razorbacks.

UAPB and Arkansas have never played in football. This year’s game is the first of two scheduled between the programs, which are also scheduled to play in 2024 in Little Rock.

Arkansas (4-2, 1-2 SEC) is ranked No. 17 in the AP Top 25 this week ahead of a home game against Auburn. The Razorbacks have lost two straight games to Georgia and Ole Miss.

The Golden Lions have lost four straight following a 35-15 loss at Alabama State last Saturday. UAPB (1-4, 0-3 SWAC), which hosts Southern this week, is the defending champion in its conference.
