Razorbacks sell out game against Texas

Arkansas fans cheer on Saturday, September 4, 2021 during the first quarter of a football game at Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville.

FAYETTEVILLE — All seats in Reynolds Razorback Stadium have been sold for Arkansas’ matchup against No. 21 Texas on Saturday.

It is Arkansas' first home sellout since a 28-7 loss to TCU in 2017.

A limited number of standing-room-only tickets are being made available for $50, according to a release. The tickets, which can be purchased on arkansasrazorbacks.com, will be located on the stadium’s north deck and will have a limited view of the field.

The Razorbacks and Longhorns are set to kick off at 6 p.m., and the game will air on ESPN. Both teams won Week 1 games, with Arkansas defeating Rice 38-17 and Texas beating Louisiana-Lafayette 38-18.

The Longhorns own a 56-22 advantage in the all-time series with the Razorbacks and have won the last three games played in Fayetteville — 22-20 in 2004, 24-20 in 1989 and 15-13 in 1985.

The teams last met Dec. 29, 2014, in the Texas Bowl, a game Arkansas won 31-7.
