FAYETTEVILLE — Texas jumped six spots to No. 15 in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 poll.

Arkansas is scheduled to host Texas on Saturday at 6 p.m. The game, which will be the Razorbacks’ first home sellout in four years, will be televised by ESPN.

The Longhorns (1-0) will be the highest-ranked nonconference team to play a game in Fayetteville since 2006, when No. 6 Southern Cal opened the season with a 50-14 victory over the Razorbacks.

Arkansas has not played a ranked nonconference team in Fayetteville since its 30-23 victory over No. 19 Tulsa in 2008.

Texas defeated Louisiana-Lafayette 38-18 last Saturday in Austin. The Ragin’ Cajuns were ranked No. 23, but fell from the poll following the loss.

Arkansas will play six games this season against teams ranked in this week’s poll, including at No. 1 Alabama and at No. 2 Georgia. Other future opponents include No. 5 Texas A&M, No. 20 Ole Miss and No. 25 Auburn.
