Diamond Hogs to play 7-inning games vs. UAPB

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas will play two seven-inning baseball games against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Tuesday at Baum-Walker Stadium. 

The first pitch will be thrown at 3 p.m. The second game will begin approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

Both games will be streamed on SEC Network-Plus. 

The doubleheader will replace a scheduled Wednesday game between the teams. According to the National Weather Service, there is a 70% chance of thunderstorms in Fayetteville on Wednesday. 

The forecast Tuesday is partly sunny with a high near 80 degrees. 

Second-ranked Arkansas (23-7) was scheduled to play a game five consecutive days this week, but with the schedule change will have an off day prior to the start of a conference series against No. 12 LSU that is scheduled to begin Thursday night. 

UAPB is 7-19-1 following a weekend series loss to Grambling State.

Single-game tickets purchased for Wednesday can be exchanged through the Razorback Ticket Center.
