Arkansas guard JD Notae missed a potential game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer and Vanderbilt knocked off the Razorbacks 75-74 in Bud Walton Arena on Tuesday.

The loss dropped Arkansas to 0-2 in SEC play and 10-4 overall. The Razorbacks have lost 4 of their last 5 games dating back to Dec. 11.

Scotty Pippen Jr. led the Commodores with 22 points on 6 of 11 shooting and 9 of 12 at the free throw line. He also had a career-high seven turnovers before fouling out with 41 seconds remaining.

Vanderbilt guard Trey Thomas added 15 points off the bench, knocking down 5 of 7 attempts from three-point range. His five made threes match a career high.

Stanley Umude led Arkansas with 28 points on 11 of 20 shooting. After an 18-point first half, he hit just 3 of 11 shots after halftime.

JD Notae added 16 points on 17 shots in his first game back from an illness, and Au'Diese Toney pitched in a season-high 20 points on 6 of 7 shooting and 7 of 9 at the line.

There were 47 fouls called in the game (Vanderbilt 26, Arkansas 21). The Commodores made 19 of 26 free throws in the game, and the Razorbacks finished 18 of 28.

Chris Lykes, after stealing a Vanderbilt inbound pass with Arkansas down two, missed a free throw with 15.5 seconds remaining that would have tied the game. Jaxson Robinson then missed a three from the right wing seconds after Lykes rebounded the second free throw.

After a pair of Commodores misses at the line, Umude was rejected at the rim with 1.1 seconds left.

Out of an Arkansas timeout, Notae missed a three-pointer at the buzzer. Notae finished 1 of 7 from three-point range.

Chris Lykes steals the inbound pass and attempts a wild layup. Looked like officials called a foul on Arkansas after it missed. But they confer and whistle Vanderbilt for a foul.

Lykes hit 1of 2 free throws. He rebounded the miss, kicked to Jaxson Robinson for three and he missed. Vanderbilt rebounded and will be at the line after a timeout.

Au'Diese Toney's best scoring night of the season has been much needed for the Razorbacks. He just nailed a right-corner three to pull Arkansas within two at the final media timeout.

Toney has 16 of his 20 points in the second half.

Scotty Pippen Jr. has drawn fouls like crazy in this game. He just got officials to give him another one and he will be at the line for two when play resumes.

Pippen has 19 points on 8 of 10 at the line.

6:44, 2H - Vanderbilt 61, Arkansas 57

JD Notae got caught up in a couple of Commodores screens set for Trey Thomas and he buried a left-wing three to put Vanderbilt up four.

It was Thomas' fourth long-distance hit of the game on six attempts. He has 12 points off the bench.

The Razorbacks are 0 of their last 4 from the floor and have not scored in 2:54. Jaxson Robinson missed two of those shots - both threes - and JD Notae and Stanley Umude also misfired.

Umude 2 of 6 shooting in the second half, and Notae is 1 of 3.

11:19, 2H - Arkansas 53, Vanderbilt 53

Au'Diese Toney added a layup plus the foul to tie the game and send us to another stoppage in play. He will be at the line when play resumes.

Toney somewhat quietly has 11 points, 3 assists, 1 block and 1 steal. Arkansas is plus-11 with him on the floor tonight.

Scotty Pippen Jr. just hit Au'Diese Toney and Davonte Davis with the same quick spin move along the baseline and added layups in both instances. The Commodores are on a 6-0 run and have regained the lead.

Pippen is up to 17 points. He also has a career-high seven turnovers.

Stanley Umude has 22 points on 10 of 14 shooting. He has missed 3 of his last 5 shots since his hot start, but is still playing fine outside of four turnovers.

Stanley Umude is up to 22 points on 10 of 13 shooting. He has all of Arkansas' points since halftime on 2 of 4 shooting.

Vanderbilt is being led by Jordan Wright and Rodney Chatman in the second half. They have accounted for each Commodores point. Wright has six points and Chatman five.

Eric Musselman picked up a technical foul after arguing what looked to be a fairly bad whistle on Au'Diese Toney. The ensuing free throws gave Vanderbilt a 41-40 lead.

Half - Arkansas 40, Vanderbilt 35

Stanley Umude carried the Razorbacks offensively in the first half, and Arkansas has a halftime lead.

Umude, fresh off a 19-point outing at Mississippi State last week, scored 18 points on 8 of 9 shooting before the break. He knocked down 2 of 3 looks from deep, as well.

Umude does have three turnovers, but he was special in the opening 20 minutes. Arkansas was plus-3 with him on the floor.

JD Notae aided Umude's strong half with nine points and three assists of his own. He added three steals, too, but gave up a layup on a sideline out of bounds play with 0.9 seconds left in the half to Scotty Pippen Jr.

Jaylin Williams has 6 points, 3 rebounds, 1 block and 2 steals high out on the perimeter. Vanderbilt is 2 of 6 shooting when he is Arkansas' nearest defender.

Pippen Jr. leads the Commodores with 13 points on 3 of 7 shooting and 6 of 8 at the free throw line. He had to have drawn upward of 10 fouls in the first half.

Myles Stute also has eight points for Vanderbilt on 3 of 6 shooting and 2 of 5 from deep. Trey Thomas has six points.

The Razorbacks have scored 16 points off nine Commodores turnovers.

Officials have stopped the game and ordered a media timeout as they review a possible elbow by Jaylin Williams, who was fouled under the rim moments ago.

Stanley Umude is up to 18 points on 8 of 9 shooting and 2 of 3 from deep. He is the lone Razorback with more than five points.

Defensively, Williams and Au'Diese Toney are both holding Vanderbilt players to 1 of 4 shooting when the nearest defender. Arkansas has given up four uncontested looks and the Commodores have hit three, including one three-pointer.

Stanley Umude checked out of the game earlier to a big ovation from the crowd. One fan even shouted "MVP" in his direction.

Umude has 16 points on 7 of 8 shooting. He does, though, have 2 fouls and 3 turnovers, but his aggressiveness and shot making has been great.

JD Notae and Au'Diese Toney are up to three assists each now. Notae has five points on 2 of 4 shooting. Both of his scores have come in the face of Scotty Pippen Jr., who is the lone man in front of him for the SEC lead in scoring.

That has been a fun matchup to track. Pippen has seven points so far.

Stanley Umude is having an incredible game so far. He has 14 points on 6 of 7 shooting and 2 of 3 from three-point range.

Going back to last week's game against Mississippi State, Umude has made 13 of his last 15 shots.

JD Notae and Au'Diese Toney each have a pair of assists for the Razorbacks. They have assisted on six of seven scores and are 7 of 10 shooting.

Commodores players are 1 of 4 shooting with Jaylin Williams as the nearest Razorbacks defender.

This one did not start well for the Razorbacks. Scotty Pippen got a layup to go after blowing by Davonte Davis, then the Commodores hit a wide open left-corner three to make it 5-0.

Eric Musselman burned a timeout 1 minute, 12 seconds in.

Arkansas responded fairly well, though. Jaxson Robinson hit a right-corner three to make him 8 of his last 9 on corner three-point attempts, and Stanley Umude hit back-to-back shots.

Umude is playing well early, but he has also given up a three defensively and was just called for an offensive foul.

Myles Stute has six points for the Commodores, and Pippen has three.
