Hogs to host former LSU corner for official visit

Sophomore LSU cornerback Dwight McGlothern, who entered the NCAA portal Tuesday, is expected to arrive in Fayetteville around noon Saturday for an official visit.

McGlothern, 6-2, 186 pounds, of Spring (Texas) Klein Oak was an ESPN 4-star prospect who chose LSU over offers from Arkansas, Florida, Michigan, Southern Cal, Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma and others. 

He had 32 tackles, 2 tackles for a loss, 1 interception and 5 pass breakups in 2021. 

He has 41 tackles, 8 pass breakups and 1 interception for a score in his two collegiate seasons.  

Arkansas cornerbacks coach Sam Carter is his lead recruiter. McGlothern’s father is expected to accompany him on the visit to Fayetteville.
