FAYETTEVILLE — Three of Arkansas’ leaders will join Razorbacks coach Sam Pittman at SEC Media Days next week.

Quarterback KJ Jefferson, linebacker Bumper Pool and safety Jalen Catalon will be Arkansas’ player representatives at the event in Atlanta, which begins July 18. The Razorbacks are scheduled to appear July 20.

Pittman, who led Arkansas to a 9-4 mark in 2021, will make his second appearance at SEC Media Days.

Jefferson finished last season with 2,676 passing yards and 21 touchdowns against 4 interceptions, and also rushed for 664 yards and 6 scores. He completed 67.3% of his pass attempts in 13 games.

Pool, who in January opted to return to Arkansas for his super senior season, led the Razorbacks and tied for 10th nationally with 125 tackles in 2021. He will enter this fall with 349 career tackles, which rank ninth in school history.

Catalon, who missed part of last season after undergoing shoulder surgery, was eighth on the team in tackles with 46. He said at a youth football camp in June that he is full-go for the upcoming season.
