Arkansas football continued its roll in summer recruiting Wednesday with the commitment of Davion Dozier.

A 3-star wide receiver from Moody, Ala., Dozier chose the Razorbacks over Tennessee, Duke, South Carolina and Maryland, all of which he included in his top five on June 9. He also had offers from Georgia Tech and Arkansas State, among other schools.

Dozier is the No. 26 prospect in Alabama and No. 77 receiver nationally in the 2023 class, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings.

He committed to the Razorbacks in his high school’s gym. The receiver is Arkansas’ seventh commitment in July and 12th since June 19.

Three-star outside linebacker/edge rusher Brad Spence pledged to Arkansas on Tuesday.

Dozier (6-4, 185 pounds) announced he received an offer from the Razorbacks on May 4 after a conversation with Arkansas receivers coach Kenny Guiton, who is entering his second season with the program. Special teams coordinator Scott Fountain was key in his recruitment, as well.

Dozier visited the Razorbacks, Duke and Maryland in June.

As a junior, Dozier finished with 51 catches for 833 yards and 12 touchdowns in 10 games. He caught 39 passes for 573 yards and 6 scores in 8 games the previous season.

Dozier gives Arkansas 23 commitments in the 2023 class. Verbal commitments are not binding.
