4-star QB to visit Hogs this weekend

Arkansas is expected to host one of the top dual-threat quarterback targets in the nation this weekend. 

Malachi Singleton, 6-1, 225 pounds, of North Cobb High School in Kennesaw, Ga., has said he will visit the Razorbacks for Saturday’s Prospect Day. 

He visited the Hogs for the Mississippi State game on Nov. 6. 

ESPN rates him a 4-star prospect, the No. 9 dual-threat quarterback and the No. 290 overall recruit in the nation for the 2023 class. Arkansas, Georgia, Miami, Louisville, Central Florida, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina State and other programs have offered him.

He completed 166 of 221 passes for 2,316 yards and 24 touchdowns while rushing for 1,018 yards and 25 touchdowns. He was named Cobb County Offensive Player of the Year as a junior. 

As a sophomore, he was the 3-7A Offensive Player of the Year after completing 127 of 193 passes for 1,619 yards and 15 touchdowns and rushing for 1,091 yards and 17 touchdowns.

Singleton was teammates with Arkansas receiver signee Sam M’bake.
