Razorbacks announce 2022-23 men's basketball schedule

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas announced its finalized 2022-23 men’s basketball schedule Thursday.

The lone game on the Razorbacks’ upcoming non-conference schedule that was not previously known is a Nov. 16 home game against South Dakota State. The Jackrabbits are coming off a season in which they finished 30-5 overall and 18-0 in Summit League play.

South Dakota State, a No. 13 seed, lost 66-57 to Providence in the first round of the 2022 NCAA Tournament.

Arkansas’ 31-game schedule features 16 games in Bud Walton Arena. The Razorbacks will not play a true road game until their SEC opener at LSU on Dec. 28.

Arkansas is set to play 13 non-conference games, including three at the Maui Invitational, a neutral-site game against Oklahoma in Tulsa on Dec. 10 and a game against Bradley in North Little Rock on Dec. 17. The Razorbacks will also play at Baylor in Waco, Texas, on Jan. 28 as part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge.

According to a release, the Razorbacks will hold their annual Red-White scrimmage on Sunday, Oct. 16 at Barnhill Arena. The team’s exhibition schedule includes a game at Texas on Oct. 29.

A second exhibition opponent has not been announced.
