Ellis learned toughness, perseverance through mother's battle

FAYETTEVILLE — Family has always meant everything to Bri Ellis.

The junior softball slugger who transferred to Arkansas this offseason from Auburn said there has never been a time she hasn’t felt close to her father Ron, mother Molly and older sister Emily.
