FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas’ men’s basketball team has fallen out of The Associated Press Top 25.

The Razorbacks, ranked 25th in the Jan. 16 edition of the poll, are unranked in the latest poll that was released Monday. They had been included in each of the last 16 AP polls dating to Feb. 14, 2022.

Arkansas received nine voting points.

The Razorbacks (13-6, 2-5 SEC) split their conference games last week, falling 79-76 at Missouri on Wednesday and defeating Ole Miss 69-57 at Bud Walton Arena on Saturday. The win over the Rebels snapped their four-game losing streak in SEC play.

Arkansas this week is scheduled to host LSU on Tuesday then travel to Baylor on Saturday as part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge. The Tigers beat the Razorbacks 60-57 in both teams’ league opener on Dec. 28 and have lost six consecutive games since.

The Bears are 14-5 overall, 4-3 in Big 12 play and No. 17 in the AP poll. Baylor, which began conference play 0-3, hosts Kansas on Monday at 8 p.m.

Other teams of note in this week's poll are Alabama (2), Tennessee (4), Texas (10) and Auburn (15). San Diego State, which lost to Arkansas in overtime at the Maui Invitational in November, received 57 voting points, the third most among teams outside the top 25.
