A second Arkansas basketball commitment from the NCAA transfer portal has withdrawn from the NBA Draft, according to a report.

College basketball insider Jon Rothstein tweeted Saturday afternoon that Louisville guard transfer El Ellis will return to school for 2023-24. Ellis committed to the Razorbacks on April 17 after spending two seasons with the Cardinals.

“Razorback Nation, I’m Here,” Ellis wrote in a post to his Twitter account Saturday.

The 6-3 guard was one of four Arkansas players or transfer portal commits who declared for this year’s draft while maintaining college eligibility. Houston transfer Tramon Mark withdrew May 23, and the Razorbacks are awaiting word on wing Jordan Walsh and guard Davonte Davis.

May 31 is the deadline for players to withdraw from the draft and preserve eligibility for next season.

Ellis did not receive an invite to the G League Elite Camp or NBA Draft Combine in Chicago this month. On3.com considers him the 60th-best transfer this year.

At Louisville, Ellis averaged 13.2 points on 40.5% from the field and 33.4% beyond the arc. He played the previous two seasons at Tallahassee (Fla.) Community College, where he became the program’s first two-time All-American.
