FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas softball released its fall schedule Friday, which includes an exhibition against McLennan (Texas) Community College, four “Razorbacks Unlimited” intrasquad scrimmages and a two-day trip to Kansas City for a tournament.

The Razorbacks are set to begin their fall schedule on Sunday, Sept. 17 against McLennan. First pitch for that exhibition, which will be 10 innings, is slated for noon.

McLennan has also agreed to games against other Division I teams, including Baylor, Texas, Texas A&M and Wichita State this fall.

Arkansas will compete at the Fallapalooza Fall Tournament hosted by the University of Missouri-Kansas City from Oct. 7-8. The Razorbacks’ opponents and game times for that event will be announced at a later date.

The team is scheduled to have its intrasquad Razorbacks Unlimited scrimmages on Sept. 22, Sept. 29, Oct. 13 and Oct. 27. Competition is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. on those dates, which are all Fridays.

Razorbacks Unlimited play is formatted similarly to the professional Athletes Unlimited league, where individuals earn points for their performance. Assistant coach and former All-American Danielle Gibson Whorton competed in Athletes Unlimited this summer and placed third out of 60 athletes.

Each of the Razorbacks Unlimited scrimmages are doubleheaders.
