FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas is scheduled to play a famed night game at LSU’s Tiger Stadium on Sept. 23.
The game between the Razorbacks and the Tigers is scheduled to kick off at 6 p.m., the SEC announced Monday. It will be televised by ESPN.
LSU (1-1) is scheduled to open SEC play Saturday with a game at Mississippi State. The Tigers defeated Grambling State 72-10 last week and lost 45-24 to Florida State on a neutral field in Orlando, Fla., to open the season.
Arkansas (2-0) is scheduled to host BYU on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
Next week’s game will be only the fifth the Razorbacks have played at night at the stadium known as Death Valley. Arkansas won their last game at the stadium, at night, two years ago by a score of 16-13 in overtime. That snapped a five-game win streak by LSU in the series.
The Razorbacks have an all-time record of 4-14 at the stadium, with all games played since 1993.
Arkansas lost 13-10 to LSU last season in Fayetteville.
