Arkansas' 2024 baseball schedule includes several notable home dates

Arkansas head coach Dave Van Horn looks on from the dugout, Sunday, June 4, 2023, during the seventh inning of the Razorbacks’ game against TCU in the second round of the NCAA Fayetteville Regional at Baum-Walker Stadium in Fayetteville.
FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas will host the past three college baseball national champions at Baum-Walker Stadium in 2024.
The Razorbacks’ 35-game home schedule includes series against the two teams that played for last season’s title, champion LSU and runner-up Florida, as well as 2022 winner Ole Miss and 2021 winner Mississippi State. They will host Missouri for their first SEC series beginning March 15.
Arkansas’ schedule includes notable Tuesday or Wednesday non-conference games against Oral Roberts, Texas Tech, San Jose State and Missouri State.
Oral Roberts, a participant at last season’s College World Series, is on Arkansas’ schedule for the first time since 2019. The Golden Eagles are among five non-conference teams on the schedule that made last season’s NCAA Tournament, along with Texas Tech, San Jose State, Oklahoma State and Oregon State.
“The non-conference games that we're going to play and then conference games here, the fans are going to have an incredible home schedule,” Arkansas coach Dave Van Horn said last month.
Arkansas will play road SEC series at Auburn, Alabama, Texas A&M, South Carolina and Kentucky.
The 2024 season will be the SEC’s last to include divisional play. Oklahoma and Texas will join the conference the following season.
The Razorbacks are scheduled to open next season with a four-game series against James Madison in Fayetteville beginning Feb. 16. They will play Oregon State, Oklahoma State and Michigan in an order to be announced as part of the new four-team College Baseball Series at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, the following weekend, then will host Murray State and McNeese State for weekend series before the start of SEC play.
Arkansas will play all four of the other Division I teams from the state once in the midweek, including Arkansas-Pine Bluff on April 23 at Dickey-Stephens Park in North Little Rock.
