With the bases loaded, two outs and only a two-run deficit, the Chicago Cubs had a chance to rally past the Texas Rangers in the bottom of the ninth.

Craig Gentry had other plans, however. Darwin Barney lined the ball into center field and Gentry made a diving catch, which was featured on ESPN's "Web Gems" segment, to end the rally and secure a 4-2 victory for the Rangers.

Offensively, Gentry went 1-for-3 with a double and drew a walk.

Gentry played outfield for Arkansas in 2005 and 2006 before being drafted by Texas in the 10th round. The Fort Smith native is hitting .227 in nine starts early in the year. Prior to this season, Gentry steadily improved his batting average, including hitting at a .304 clip in 122 games last year.

As a Razorback, Gentry batted .318 in 97 games, scored 74 runs, drove in 41 runs and stole 34 bases on 42 attempts.
