Safety Steven Parker II, 6-3, 195, 4.4 of Jenks, Oklahoma is planning to visit Arkansas for the Texas A&M game. His father Steven said the Hogs are in contention because of defensive coordinator Chris Ash.

The elder Parker couldn't say enough good things about Ash. He told Ash his son wouldn't commit to anyone without visiting Arkansas. Parker reports having about 25 offers.

Offensive lineman Frank Ragnow, 6-6, 291, 5.0 seconds in the 40 yard dash of Victoria, Minnesota, Chanhassen said he's been getting 30 letters a day from Arkansas and his parents have been getting about 30. He said Coach Bret Bielema has been direct messaging him him a lot.

Springdale Har Ber Coach Chris Wood said he believes defensive lineman Rickey Dobbins, 6-2 1/2, 308 has to be one of the top junior prospects in the state. He said Dobbins' explosiveness off the ball is outstanding.

Dobbins, who played last year at Maumelle, has slimmed down from about 330.

Junior safety Larry Pryor, 6-2, 195, 4.4, of Sulphur Springs, Texas said his top schools in order are Texas, TCU and Arkansas. He visited Fayetteville in July. Pryor is considered one of the top 2015 recruits in Texas. Video highlights click here

Linebacker Jimmie Swain, who's committed to TCU, said Arkansas is sending him a ton of handwritten letters. On Aug. 12, he tweeted out numerous handwritten letters he was received from Arkansas.

Swain, 6-3, 230, 4.51 played last season at Lee’s Summit, Mo. but has moved and will play Olathe, (Kan.) North. Video highlights click here

Linebacker Sharieff Rhaheed of Fort Pierce, Florida said he will not be announcing his college decision on Friday. He mentioned on Twitter a few days ago he might commit to a school on Friday.

As reported on Aug. 19, he said he'll definitely take an official to Arkansas.

Junior receiver Jaelan Austin, 6-2, 190, 4.48 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Grand Prairie Central High School said he's trying to line up another visit to Arkansas to see the Hogs play this season. He was one of the standouts at Arkansas' Elite Camp in July.

Tight end DeAndre Goolsby, 6-5, 232 pounds of Derby, Kansas announced his top five schools on Twitter Sunday. He lists Arkansas, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Florida and Kansas State. Video highlights click here
