No Rimington for Swanson

Arkansas center Travis Swanson blocks during an Aug. 31, 2013 game against Louisiana-Lafayette at Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville. Swanson is expected to make his 50th consecutive start Friday at LSU.

— Florida State center Bryan Stork won the Rimington Trophy on Thursday.

Stork beat out five other semifinalists for the award, including Arkansas' Travis Swanson. The Rimington Trophy is awarded each year to the most outstanding center in college football.

A Rimington win would have capped a memorable week for Swanson, who was named first team all-SEC by The Associated Press and first team all-American by USA Today. Swanson said earlier this week he will graduate from the UA this month.

Swanson was a four-year starter at Arkansas. He started his 50th straight game in the Razorbacks' season finale at LSU two weeks ago.
