Arkansas gains third commitment for 2014
On Monday morning, North Little Rock junior Juan Day received a scholarship offer from the Hogs and in the afternoon decided to make an oral commitment to the Razorbacks.
LITTLE ROCK North Little Rock junior running back Juan Day committed to Arkansas on Monday after receiving a scholarship offer earlier in the day.
Day (6-foot-2, 210 pounds, 4.5 seconds in the 40-yard dash) is the first cousin of former Arkansas running back Cedric Cobbs. He said he dreamed of being a Razorback player.
He wants to continue to be teammates with running back Altee Tenpenny - an Alabama verbal commit - in the future and plans to recruit him to be a Hog. Day rushed for more than 900 yards this past season, helping the Charging Wildcats to the semifinals of the Class 7A playoffs.
Day is the second in-state player to commit to Arkansas in the junior class, joining El Dorado defensive tackle Bijhon Jackson, who committed last month.
