Monday recruiting tidbits

One of the nation's elite prospects, athlete Davion Hall is expected to officially visit Arkansas this weekend.

Athlete Davion Hall, 6-3, 194, 4.5 of Texarkana, Texas, Liberty-Eylau said he'll probably take an official visit to Arkansas. The Baylor commitment is rated the No. 28 prospect in the nation by national recruiting analyst Tom Lemming of CBS Sports Network.

He visited the Hogs for the Red-White game in April and also in March. The Razorbacks are the only school to be recruiting Hall to play both ways at safety and receiver.

2015 OL Rob Dowdy, 6-7, 285, 5.0 of Westerville South High School in Ohio plans to arrive in Fayetteville on Thursday for a Friday visit. He has scholarship offers from Arkansas, Kentucky, Georgia Tech, Illinois, West Virginia and Indiana.

Arkansas DL commitment Bijhon Jackson of El Dorado said the whole family will be leaving Friday morning for his visit to Arkansas this weekend. This will be his father's first time to meet the Arkansas coaching staff. Needless to say he's very excited.

2015 RB-WR D.J. Brown of Little Rock Catholic will be at Arkansas on Friday.
