Wednesday recruiting tidbits

Sophomore tight end Will Gragg of Pine Bluff will attend camps at Arkansas, Alabama, LSU and Ole Miss during the summer. Gragg, who has an offer from Arkansas, said the Hogs, Ole Miss, Auburn and Southern Cal have been by his school.

Alabama was at El Dorado high school to check on Arkansas defensive line commitment Bijhon Jackson today.

Arkansas running backs coach Joel Thomas attended spring practice at Carrollton, (Texas) Hebron on Tuesday to watch 2015 offensive lineman Zach Rogers, defensive end Daniel Wise and safety Jamal Adams. Today, Oklahoma, Baylor, UCLA, Notre Dame, Colorado State, Minnesota and Ole Miss were on hand. Forty schools have been by the school since the spring evaluation period started on April 15. About 90 schools have called and said they'll visit the school.

Arkansas quarterback signee Austin Allen is batting about .350 for the 23-2 Fayetteville Bulldogs. He was 7 of 8 in today's two wins against Bentonville.

Cornerback Chris Murphy of Marietta,(Ga.) Lassiter High School said Arkansas cornerbacks coach Taver Johnson visited his school this morning and came back later in the day to watch his practice. He has 16 offers, including Arkansas where he visited for the spring game.

Promising sophomore offensive and defensive lineman DeVante Lovett, 6-5, 282 of Strong said he plans to attend summer camps at Arkansas, Alabama and LSU. The Hogs and Ole Miss have been by the school to check on him.

Sophomore quarterback Ty Storey of Charleston said Arkansas, Alabama, Ole Miss, Georgia and Arkansas State have been by his school over the last two weeks.
