Hogs to play Saturday doubleheader

Arkansas coach Dave Van Horn walks to the dugout. His team will play its final regular-season series at Auburn on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

— Arkansas will play a pair of nine-inning games at Kentucky beginning at 11 a.m. Central on Saturday.

The doubleheader was scheduled in advance of wet weather forecast later this weekend. There is a 70 percent chance of showers Saturday in Lexington, Ky. and a 100 percent chance of rain Sunday.

Arkansas' series finale at Georgia last weekend was canceled because of rain.

Amended TV arrangements for the series are still being worked out, according to a UA spokesperson. The 11 a.m. contest will be televised by Big Blue Network in Kentucky, but will be shown on a tape delay at 6 p.m.

Cox Sports was scheduled to televise Sunday's game. That network has live college softball and college baseball games scheduled for Saturday afternoon.

The doubleheader will be Arkansas' fifth this season and first in SEC play. The Razorbacks are 5-3 in doubleheader games this year.

Arkansas and Kentucky began their three-game series Friday night. The No. 14 Razorbacks entered the contest with a 30-15 overall and 13-7 SEC record, while the No. 23 Wildcats are 26-17 and 9-12 in league play.
