— The Oakland Raiders waived former Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson from their 53-man roster Wednesday.

Wilson, who was drafted by the Raiders in the fourth round earlier this year, was activated two weeks ago after spending the first half of the season on the team's practice squad. Wilson, who has not played this year, can now be claimed off waivers or signed to a practice squad.

The move allowed the Raiders to activate left tackle Jared Veldheer from the partial season injury reserve. Oakland will play at Dallas on Thursday.
