Jackrabbits upset Arkansas in OT

— No. 25 Arkansas women blew a 9-point lead in the final minute of regulation and lost 80-75 to South Dakota State in overtime Thursday at Bud Walton Arena.

Chyna Stevens hit a 3-pointer with 1 second remaining in regulation to tie the game 64-64 for the Jackrabbits. The Razorbacks led 60-51 with 50 seconds remaining.

South Dakota State (7-2) took the lead for good on a pair of Megan Waytashek free throws with 1:50 left in overtime. The loss was the first for Arkansas head coach Jimmy Dykes.

Reigning SEC player of the week Kelsey Brooks scored a career-high 28 points for the Razorbacks (6-1). Jhasmin Bowen added 20 points and 9 rebounds.

Macy Miller scored 20 points for South Dakota State, while Stevens added 17 points and 10 rebounds. Waytashek scored 14 points, including seven in overtime.

Arkansas hosts No. 18 Rutgers on Sunday.
