Tuesday recruiting tidbits

Arkansas will host several juniors for unofficial visits on Saturday.

As of now, this is an updated list of prospects expected to visit Arkansas on Saturday. The list can and will likely change.

DE-TE JaMario Bell of Junction City can't make it because of basketball.

Athlete D.J. Brown of Little Rock Catholic will be visiting Duke this weekend and Memphis on March 1.

Defensive lineman Luc Bequette has moved to Little Rock and is attending Little Rock Catholic.

Bequette, 6-2, 275, 4.97 seconds in the 40 yard dash, played his sophomore and junior seasons at Centennial High School in Champaign, Illinois.

He attended Arkansas' football camp last summer and was praised by Coach Bret Bielema for his effort and being difficult to block. He could also be given a look at fullback. Video Highlights CLICK HERE

He's the son of former Arkansas offensive lineman Chris Bequette an offensive lineman for the Razorbacks from 1984-1987; his late grandfather George Bequette was a lineman from 1954-1956. His uncle Jay Bequette was an offensive lineman at Arkansas in 1980-1982, while his cousin Jake Bequette was a defensive end with the Hogs in 2007-2011 and is now with the New England Patriots.

Arkansas signees have or will receive strength and conditioning coach Ben Herbert's workout booklet.

Lars Froholdt, the older brother of Arkansas defensive end commitment Hjalte Froholdt, played semi-pro handball in Denmark. He plans to attend a junior college in the United States in the fall in hopes of joining his brother in Fayetteville.

Connor State power forward Willie Atwood, who recently received an offer from Arkansas, has been seen by Coach Mike Anderson, associate head coach Melvin Watkins and assistant coach Matt Zimmerman at one time or another during the evaluation period.

As reported in today's Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, Pine Bluff tight end Will Gragg plans to announce his college decision on Nov. 18.

Warren receivers Darveon Brown and Jaylon Marshall were offered by Arkansas State today. They will not visit Arkansas this weekend, but will for the spring game.

Brad Winton of Juco Recruiting reports Arkansas Coach Mike Anderson will see point guard Trey Dickerson of Williston State on Thursday. He's averaging 19.8 points, 5.8 assists and 3.9 rebounds a game while shooting 47.8 precent from the field and 33.1 precent from beyond the three-point line.
