Arkansas one of three finalists for Thomas
Defensive end Solomon Thomas of Coppell, Texas is down to three schools in no particular order, UCLA, Stanford and Arkansas, according to his father, Chris.
In a text message, Chris Thomas said he spoke to Texas Coach Charlie Strong and Ohio State co-defensive coordinator Luke Fickell this afternoon and informed them that based on academic, social, and athletic elements that Solomon was not a fit for their program.
As a a result, he will not be visiting either school or meeting any of their staff. So it's down to (and in no particular order) UCLA, Stanford and Arkansas.
Arkansas running backs coach Joel Thomas is Thomas' lead recruiter.
National recruiting analyst Tom Lemming of CBS Sports Network rates Thomas the No. 24 prospect in the nation.
