On Thursday, Arkansas will host numerous impressive prospects for an Elite Camp and junior quarterback Micah Wilson plans to be one of them.

Wilson, 6-3, 195, 4.63 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Tulsa Lincoln Christian is also drawing interest from Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Utah, Missouri, SMU, Memphis and others.Video highlights CLICK HERE

He and Hog offensive coordinator Jim Chaney have talked.

“I really like Arkansas,” Wilson said. “I like coach Chaney a lot. He’s a real nice guy.”

He completed 210 of 346 passes for 2,650 yards and 30 touchdowns last year.

“I’ve got a very strong arm and I’m pretty athletic, I run a 4.63 forty,” he said. “I’m a pro-style passer, but I can also run if I need to. I feel like I can make any throw I need to.”

Wilson’s speed is exhibited on the track. He has a best of 52 seconds in the 400 meters and also runs a leg in the 4x100 and 4x200 relays. He runs the anchor leg in the 4x400.

His father was a center and a team captain at Missouri and was drafted by the New England Patriots. His middle brother Roman recently graduated from Princeton and was a FCS All-American as a receiver.

“My older brother played football at TU (Tulsa) and he got his masters degree in five years there on a football scholarship,” Wilson said.

Wilson, who has a 4.0 grade point average, won’t have to make his college decision anytime soon, but he know what he wants.

“First off, I want a school that wants me,” Wilson said. “I don’t want to go to a school not desired there. I definitely want to go where they want me and the coaches like me and I want to go somewhere I like the school.”
