UA jumper charged with shoplifting

Arkansas jumper Clive Pullen was arrested early Thursday and charged with shoplifting.

Pullen was booked into the Washington County jail at 1:17 a.m. Thursday and was released on a $565 bond at 3:27 a.m.

According to the arrest report, Pullen was arrested at the Wal-Mart Supercenter on Martin Luther King Blvd. in Fayetteville. He was caught and detained by the store's lost prevention for reportedly stealing fish and clothes.

Pullen is a freshman triple jumper from Kingston, Jamaica. He failed to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugune, Ore., where several Arkansas athletes are this week.
