Highly recruited RB set to visit Hogs
Running back Reggie Gallaspy, 5-11, 215 pounds, 4.53 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Greensboro (N.C.) Southern Guilford plans to visit Arkansas July 23-24. Running backs coach Joel Thomas is his lead recruiter.
He has 17 scholarship offers from schools that include Arkansas, Louisville, Michigan State, Duke, North Carolina State, North Carolina, Wake Forest and Vanderbilt.
Gallaspy, who has a 3.5 grade point average, had 282 carries for 1,704 yards and 26 touchdowns as a junior and 1,751 yards and 20 touchdowns on 177 carries as a sophomore. Video highlights CLICK HERE
“I’m more of a north and south runner,” said Gallaspy in an earlier interview. “Mainly between the guards and tackles is my strong suit. I have great speed on the edge, good hands.”
