Arkansas Democrat-Gazette/RICK MCFARLAND --03/13/14-- North Little Rock's Anton Beard (4), games most MVP, celebrates after they beat Springdale in the State Class 7A Boys Championship game in Hot Springs Thursday.

Arkansas point guard signee Anton Beard scored 29 points and was named the game MVP in last night's 89-81 victory over Springdale and leading the Charging Wildcats to their second consecutive state title.

He was 12 of 23 from the field and 2 of 4 from the three-point line, 3 of 5 from the free three line, 4 rebounds and 2 assists.

Junior guard KeVaughn Allen had 28 points on 9 of 14 shooting from the field, 2 of 3 from the three-point line, 8 of 8 from the free throw line, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists.

Junior guard K.J. Hill had 12 points on 5 of 11 shooting from the field, 1 of 3 from the free throw line, 1 of 1 from the three-point line an assist and 8 rebounds.

Sophomore guard Adrian Moore had 5 points on 1 of 5 shooting from the field, 3 of 4 from the free throw line and 4 rebounds.

Junior point guard Tereke Eckwood of Springdale had 14 points on 5 of 9 shooting from the field, 1 of 3 from the three-point line, 3 of 5 from the free throw line, 5 rebounds and 2 assists.

Arkansas has extended an offer to former TCU cornerback commitment PJ Bmanasor of Pflugerville, (Texas) Hendrickson. He said there's a chance he visits the Hogs. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Arkansas has offered receiver Kemah Siverand of Houston Cypress Ridge. Hog defensive backs coach Clay Jennings has been recruiting him for awhile. Siverand has always had interest in the Razorbacks. Video highlights CLICK HERE
