Former Arkansas center Travis Swanson signed with the Detroit Lions on Thursday.

Swanson was drafted by Detroit in the third round of this month's NFL Draft. According to the NFL's rookie wage scale, his contract will be for four years and worth around $3 million. Swanson's signing bonus is unknown.

He is the fourth former Arkansas player to sign an NFL contract since the draft. Defensive end Chris Smith signed with the Jaguars on Wednesday, while kicker Zach Hocker (Redskins) and fullback Kiero Small (Seahawks) signed shortly after being drafted in the seventh round by their respective teams.
