Bobby Portis was one of 24 players named to the Oscar Robertson Trophy watch list Monday.
The trophy is awarded to the player the U.S. Basketball Writers Association chooses as its player of the year after the season.
It is Portis' second appearance on such a list, as he was also named to the John Wooden Award watch list.
He is one of five SEC players on the Oscar Robertson Trophy watch list. Kentucky's trio of Aaron Harrison, Andrew Harrison and Karl-Anthony Towns, as well as LSU's Jordan Mickey, were also named to the list.
