Miami Norland linebacker Rayshad Jackson reports receiving an offer from Arkansas.
Jackson, 6-2, 215, 4.58 said linebacker coach Randy Shannon told him of the offer. The offer is his first.

Junior quarterback Matthew Beck, 6-7, 208, 4.9 of Alexandria, La. said he's communicating with offensive coordinator and quarterback coach Jim Chaney and receivers coach Michael Smith. He hopes to visit for the LSU game Video highlights CLICK HERE
He's drawing interest from about 17 schools. He plays shortstop and pitcher in baseball. He's hit 89 mph on the radar gun. He had a 4.0 GPA last year. Chaney attended one of his spring practices.
Beck passed for 1,450 yards and 10 touchdowns as a sophomore. He has 1,210 passing yards and 10 touchdowns this season.
Conway junior quaterback Breylin Smith will visit Arkansas for the Alabama game. He's completed 73 of 121 for 1,272 and 14 touchdowns and thrown only one interception in five games.
Arkansas defensive end commit Daytrieon Dean of Ft. Smith Northside had 7 tackles, 2 tackles for loss and a sack vs Bentonville.
Junior cornerback Tyrone Mahone of Bentonville had 4 tackles and a pass breakup vs. Ft. Smith Northside.
Bentonville junior quarterback Kasey Ford completed 11 of 24 passes for 124 yards and a touchdown.
Ft. Smith Northside junior cornerback Kiondre Thomas had 3 tackles and a 99 yard kickoff return for a score.
Junior linebacker Deontre Hardwick of Ft. Smith Northside had 9 tackles and 3 tackles for loss.
Star City defensive-offensive lineman Austin Capps had 9 tackles and a tackle for a loss.

Meant to post earlier, but LSU defensive back commitment Xavier Lewis, 6-0, 185, 4.55 of Reserve, (La.) East Saint John plans to take an official visit to Arkansas on Nov. 22. He told wholehogsports.com on Aug. 13 that he would officially visit the Hogs.
Arkansas commitment and North Little Rock receiver K.J. Hill will officially visit Florida without his parents.

As reported earlier today, Miami Norland linebacker Rayshad Jackson reports receiving an offer from Arkansas. He said he's been talking to Shannon for a few weeks before getting his offer from the Hogs last night. He told Shannon he wants to commit and Shannon said he'll call him in the next two days and talk about a commitment.
Jackson said Shannon wants him to officially visit in Jan. Coach Bret Bielema usually likes prospects to visit before accepting a commitment. This could be the case too.
He's also drawing interest from Nebraska, Miami and others.
