Arkansas will host numerous prospects on unofficial visits for the Nicholls State game on Saturday.

Defensive end Gabriel Campbell of Yazoo City, Miss. was in talks with Arkansas about an official visit for the weekend but still has to take the ACT before making the trip. He hoped to drive up for an unofficial visit but couldn't work out transportation. He plans to make an official visit at a later date,

Campbell, 6-6, 255 pounds, 4.7 seconds in the 40-yard dash, has 10 scholarship offers from Arkansas, Ole Miss, California, Mississippi State, Oklahoma and others.

Other tidbits:

Safety Kahlil Haughton of Waco Midway spoke to Coach Bret Bielema Thursday evening. He said they talked about school, practice, family and getting him up for an official visit. He said he's trying to figure a date.

John Gustin, the father of highly recruited linebacker Porter Gustin, said he and Bielema talked Wednesday night.

Gustin, 6-4, 238 pounds, 4.63 of Salem (Utah) Hills linebacker has interest because the Hogs play in the SEC. He'll keep an eye on how the season progresses, according to his father.

John is friends with offensive coordinator Jim Chaney.

Ty Storey was 23-of-36 for 225 yards and 5 TDs in Charleston's 42-14 win over Shiloh last night.

Running back Patrick Carr, 5-9, 190, 4..4 of Spring, (Texas) The Woodlands, Texas rushed 21 times for 118 yards and 2 touchdowns in Thursday's game. He plans to officially visit the Hogs. Game highlights CLICK HERE

North Little Rock receiver K.J. Hill had 5 receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown in 17-7 victory over Little Rock Catholic.
