Sophomore offensive center Jack Anderson talked to Arkansas Coach Bret Bielema Monday evening and received a scholarship offer.

Anderson, 6-4, 280 of Frisco, Texas now has seven offers, including Arizona State, Texas Tech and Arkansas State. Video highlights CLICK HERE

He said he plans to visit Fayetteville for a game with his teammate and offensive lineman Jaxson Denton.

He's friends with Kennedale, Texas sophomore linebacker Baron Browning,who has an offer from the Hogs, may visit together.

Anderson said he watched the Hogs' game against Texas Tech and loved the physical play of the offensive line.

Browning said he hopes to visit for the Alabama game on Oct. 11.

Highly recruited offensive lineman Pat Allen and defensive back Deshawn Raymond plan to officially visit for the Alabama game.

Linebacker Jordon Williams of Houston Jersey Village will visit for the game, but hasn't decided if it will be an official or unofficial visit. Look for others to officially visit during the weekend.

Allen, 6-5, 280, 5.0 of Reisterstown, (Md.) Franklin has more than 20 scholarship offers, including Arkansas, Florida State, Southern Cal, Rutgers and Tennessee.

Raymond, 6-2, 182, 4.52 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Metairie, (La.) East Jefferson has approximately 20 scholarship offers but lists Arkansas, LSU, TCU, Mississippi State and Georgia as his top five schools.

The UAB game Oct. 25 could be another big visit weekend for the Hogs. Defensive line commit Hjalte Froholdt of Bradenton, (Fla.) IMG Academy and running back Patrick Carr of Spring, (Texas) The Woodlands are expected to officially visit. Several others may also make official visits.

Star City junior defensive and offensive lineman Austin Capps had 6 tackles and 2 tackles for loss Friday.

Running back Karan Higdon of Sarasota, (Fla.) Riverview had 20 carries for 83 yards and a touchdown.

Hog defensive end-tight end JaMario Bell of Junction City had 7 tackles and a reception for 4 yards.

Fayetteville tight end C.J. O'Grady had 5 catches for 95 yards and a touchdown. For the season, he has 7 receptions for 124 yards and 3 touchdowns while being 1 of 1 in passing for a touchdown.

Sophomore quarterback Taylor Powell of Fayetteville was 9 of 22 for 131 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was 10 of 19 for 180 yards, 2 touchdowns and an interception in week one.

Arkansas receiver commit K.J. Hill of North Little Rock had 5 rushes for 75 yards and a touchdown. He had 3 catches for 32 yards.

Hog defensive line commitment Hjalte Froholdt of Bradenton, (Fla.) IMG Academy had 3 solo tackles, 1 tackles for loss, a sack and 3 quarterback hurries. Defensive coordinator Joseph Sturdivant said Froholdt was in the quarterback's face all night.

Arkansas defensive end commitment Daytrieon Dean of Ft. Smith Northside had 7 tackles.

Linebacker Jordon Williams of Houston Jersey Village had 7 solo tackles, a forced fumble, a recovered fumble and a blocked punt.

Pulaski Robinson junior athlete T.J. Hammonds had 7 carries for 114 yards and a touchdown. He had 3 receptions for 116 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Ft. Smith Northside junior linebacker Deontre Hardwick had 10 tackles and 2 tackles for loss.

Ft. Smith Norhside junior cornerback Kiondre Thomas had 2 tackles, 1 pass breakup, 2 receptions for 75 yards and a touchdown. He had a kickoff return for 49 yards.
