Bradenton, (Fla.) IMG Academy defensive coordinator Joseph Sturdivant said Arkansas defensive line commitment Hjalte Froholdt had a dominating performance in 43-7 victory over Montverde Academy on Friday.

He had 4 solo tackles, an assisted tackle along with a sack and a tackle for loss in only one quarter of play.

Sturdivant said Froholdt, 6-5, 290 pounds went up against Florida State offensive line commitment Abdul Bello and another lineman that has six SEC offers.

Forward Malik Dime of Indianian Hills Community College in Iowa said he had a great official visit to Arkansas over the weekend. He said the coaches, players and the fans impressed him the most during his official visit to Fayettevile over the weekend.

He said there's a strong family atmosphere at Arkansas. Point guard Jabril Durham and guard Manuale Watkins hosted him.

He had a steak dinner at associate head coach Melvin Watkins' home Saturday and breakfast at Coach Mike Anderson's home Sunday morning. He's also visited Iowa State and Rutgers and plans to wrap up his trips to Washington this weekend.

Hog receiver commitment K.J. Hill of North Little Rock will officially visit Ohio State this weekend. He also plans to visit Florida Oct. 11, Alabama Nov. 29 and Arkansas Nov. 15. He won't visit Notre Dame, but will instead visit Oklahoma State or Oregon.

Hill said before and after his pledge to the Hogs that he would take his five official visits.

Conway offensive line commitment Colton Jackson graded at 87% and had a pancake block while allowing no sacks.

North Little Rock safety Tyler Phillips received handwritten letters from every coach on the Georgetown staff on Monday.

Junior running back Tre Turner said he's been talking to Arkansas running backs coach Joel Thomas and he's hoping to visit Fayetteville for the UAB or LSU game.

Turner, 5-10 189, 4.38 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of New Orleans, (La.) Holy Cross reports scholarship offers from Arkansas, Ole Miss, Missouri, Arizona State Tulane, Houston and others. He had 27 carries for 163 yards and 2 touchdowns in week one.

North Little Rock running back D.J. Brown will officially visit Northern Illinois Oct. 11, Southern Miss Nov. 8 and Ark St. Nov. 15. Indiana showing strong interest.

Arkansas is in the running for several prospects committed to other schools. Some have previously been reported as Razorback recruits while others have not.
