Hope defensive end McTelvin Agim has received an invite to The Opening, the prestigious summer event held at Nike headquarters in Oregon in early July.
Agim, 6-3, 268 pounds is rated the No. 20 defensive end and No. 220 prospect in the nation by ESPN. Arkansas, Alabama, Auburn, Oklahoma, Baylor, Clemson, Notre Dame and several others have extended offers.
He had an impressive showing at the Nike Football The Opening Regional in Arlington, Texas on March 15 and that helped get the invite.
Agim recorded 72 tackles, 22 sacks, 6 forced fumbles, 3 recovered fumbles and 13 pass knockdowns as a junior.
He joins North Little Rock running back Altee Tenpenny,receiver K.J. Hill, cornerback Kavin Alexander and linebacker Tyler Phillips, along with El Dorado defensive lineman Bijhon Jackson, Springdale Har-Ber defensive lineman Josh Frazier and Dumas tight end Will Gragg as Arkansans invited to The Opening.
