— Arkansas will reportedly play in the 2015 NIT Season Tip-Off, but the Razorbacks have yet to sign a contract to participate in the event, a team spokesperson said.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported Tuesday that Arkansas will be one of the teams in the field for the November tournament. The tournament format includes games played on participating campuses and at Madison Square Garden in New York.

In addition to Arkansas, the Plain Dealer reported Villanova, Stanford, Georgia Tech, Akron and Wisconsin-Green Bay are among other teams that will be in the tournament.

The Razorbacks last played in the event in 2001 when it was the Preseason NIT. Arkansas also participated in 1996 and was a finalist in 1990.
