Thursday recruiting tidbits

Devin White

Arkansas running back target Devin White qualified for the state track meet in the 100 meters with an electronic time of 10.73 seconds on Wednesday.

White, 6-2, 245 pounds, 4.47 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Springhill, (La.) North Webster also anchored the winning 4x100 relay with a time of 43.01.

Cornerback Kristian Fulton, 6-0, 172 of Metairie, (La.) Rummel had personal bests of 14.4 in the 110 meters hurdles, 39.10 in the 300 meter hurdles and 22 feet-8inches in the long jump on Wednesday. He along with defensive lineman Briston Guidry visited the Hogs on Saturday.

Arkansas running backs coach Jemal Singleton visited Allen High School in Texas Wednesday to check on defensive end Levi Onwuzurike, 6-3, 248, 4.89. He hoped to visit the Hogs for the spring game, but was unable to make it. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Jonesboro sophomore receiver Jonathan Adams Jr. 6-2, 175 has received his first offer from Arkansas State on Wednesday. His father was a Parade All American running back from Osceola and played at Arkansas State.

Arkansas tight ends coach Barry Lunney Jr. is expected to visit the school next week.

Conway sophomore guard Savannah Lowe received an offer from Louisiana Tech on Wednesday.

Air Force is visiting Bearden today to check on junior offensive lineman Samuel Williams. It appears the Falcons are on the verge of offering. Oklahoma State is expected to attend a practice in the near future.

Freshman guard Jamilyn Kinney of Van Buren received an offer from Louisiana Tech on Wednesday.

Sophomore Lauren Holmes of Fayetteville also received an offer from Louisiana Tech on Wednesday.

Sophomore linebacker Baron Browning, 6-2, 220, 4.62 of Kennendale, Texas has added offers from Texas A&M and Houston this week. He's an Arkansas target.
