It didn't take long for Andrew Benintendi to adjust to his new home.
In his second game in single-A, the former Arkansas center fielder went 2-for-4 with a pair of home runs and three RBIs in the Greenville Drive's 7-5 10-inning win over the Greensboro Grasshoppers Wednesday.
Benintendi was called up from single-A short season Lowell Sunday, after batting .290 with seven home runs in 35 games. He went 0-for-4 in his single-A debut Monday, but bounced back Wednesday.
His first home run was a two-run shot to right center field and gave the Drive a 3-0 lead in the first inning. His second was a solo home run in the top of the 10th inning, adding to the Drive's lead and making the final score 7-5.
While he is only 2-for-8 (.250) through two games in Greenville, Benintendi does have three walks, giving him an on-base percentage of .455.
I did get Andrew Benintendi's second HR of the day on video. First two LoA hits are HRs. pic.twitter.com/Kg01GFyfvF
