Monday recruiting tidbits

Running back Devwah Whaley is a major target for the Razorbacks in the 2016 class.

One of Arkansas' top targets for the 2016 class is in the process of setting up an official visit.

Running back Devwah Whaley, 5-11, 196 pounds, 4.45 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Beaumont (Texas) Central said he'll set up his official visit to Arkansas soon. The visit will be after the season.

The Hogs along with Texas A&M, Texas, Oklahoma and Georgia make up his top schools.

Hog linebacker commitment Alexy Jean-Baptiste, 6-2, 200, 4.48 of Pompano Beach, (Fla.) Coconut Creek said he'll make his official visit for the Auburn game Oct. 24.

Fullback commitment Hayden Johnson, 6-3, 245, 4.8 of Columbia, (Mo.) Rock Bridge had 3 receptions for 60 yards and a touchdown. He recorded 7 tackles and a sack on defense.

2017 Baylor tight end commitment Kedrick James, 6-7, 243 pounds, 4.81 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Waco (Texas) La Vega said he'll take an official visit to Arkansas.

2018 guard Desi Sills, 6-0, 160 of Jonesboro has received an invite to the Pangos Camp in Dallas Oct.10-11. He plays for the Arkansas Hawks during the spring and summer.

Razorback freshman defensive lineman Hjalte Froholdt's parents, Hans and Lisa will be attending the UTEP game on Saturday. His mother has to leave on Tuesday but his father will stay and attend the Toledo game in Little Rock.
